Seattle Crosscut - Stakeholders, 'Democracy', and the Viaduct

Crosscut has a piece by Sally Bagshaw on the citizen processes around the Viaduct.

Ms. Bagshaw does have some awareness of the problems around the implementation of Seattle's neighborhood involvement procedures, a subject she often writes about. But in this piece she makes no suggestions improving them, in fact argues strongly for an instance of the biggest abuse, those financially motivated politically correct scams Seattle is so broadly noted for.

Memo to all concerned - though the Viaduct is a top priority for the State their share of the project may well be going down due overspending on other 'Nickel' highway projects.
