Two employees of the political wing of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce ask a great question in a P-I op-ed - "what can a candidate do to help build the most jobs".
That's a tricky question - as the problems are national and global. Realistically the biggest thing a local government can do is make sure the most culpable in creating those global problems are brought to civil and criminal justice.
Around here those folks organize themselves at, guess where? - the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. Perhaps we need a candidate who will take that organization into moral bankruptcy, break it up, and sell of the 'pieces' to some organizations that will actually compete, not conspire. That is what business about, no?
