The Denver City Council just decided on the names for it's new Criminal Justice Center, most prominent is former District Attorney Dale Tooley (no relation to this author).
I wonder if we all have a tie to Eckhardt Tolle somewhere back in our Gaelic roots? Perhaps the O'Toole's of Ireland know. I guess I'll just have to put my Thule boat racks on the car and drive through Ontario and Upstate NY to find out.
FWIW, the one cite I saw for the name was for the person living in the Watchtower. Tooley is the english version of the name, so I'm guessing he was a guy living in the bogs near Hadrian's Wall. (Tooley is also a reed, as in Tule lake in South Central Oregon and Utah.)
