The TNT reports on a State prison cost study likely to recommend closure of the McNeil Island sex offender facility, the most expensive to operate in the State. Located near the championship class golf course Chambers Bay and the historic ferry town of Steilacoom there are also opportunities for the use of this property that should - analyzed, including habitat and recreation open space as well as development - likely already a factor.
