Mayor Baarsma attempts to reframe a dispute over the design of a new commuter rail segment through south downtown Tacoma - the 'Post and Beam' vs. Berm issue. FWIW, the real issue is lack of responsiveness to valid and responsibly stated positions by the local business community unsupported by corporate welfare. One also has to wonder about the nature of the 'secret' attorney client conversations that went into this 'vent' (Baarsma's words) that was clearly designed to rationalize the unjustifiable....
